Chief of Defence Staff Commends Airmen Training School Belagavi, Emphasizes Technological Proficiency

Bengaluru- General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), paid a significant visit to the Airmen Training School (ATS) in Belagavi today. Accompanied by Air Commodore S Sridhar, Air Officer Commanding ATS Belagavi, General Chauhan conducted a comprehensive tour of the training facility, focusing on the specialized Agniveervayu training imparted to the Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel.
During his visit, General Chauhan engaged closely with the third batch of Agniveervayu trainees, who are undergoing training aligned with the revised induction pattern introduced by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in 2022. He emphasized the critical importance of technological proficiency in modern warfare scenarios and encouraged the trainees to dedicate themselves to becoming proficient soldiers capable of meeting the challenges of future warfare.
