Vijayendra Slams CM Siddaramaiah Over ‘Appeasement Politics’
Bengaluru, March 21 (Karnataka News Bureau): Karnataka BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra has strongly opposed the state government’s 4% reservation for minorities in government contracts, calling it an insult to Hindus. He announced that BJP and JDS would jointly launch a people’s movement against the decision, vowing to put an end to what he termed as appeasement politics.
Vijayendra also criticized the increased allocation for Muslim students studying abroad from ₹20 lakh to ₹30 lakh and questioned whether Hindu students don’t require similar financial aid. He further accused the government of prioritizing Muslim women’s self-defense funds while ignoring the safety of Hindu women.
