Bengaluru Celebrates a Legacy of Learning as Shree Mahaveer Jain Shikshan Sangh Marks Historic Milestones

Bengaluru: The city witnessed a landmark celebration of educational excellence as Shree Mahaveer Jain Shikshan Sangh commemorated 40 years of BBUL Jain Vidyalaya and 25 years of CB Bhandari Jain College in a grand event marked by pride, gratitude, and a forward-looking vision.
The prestigious occasion was graced by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar as the Chief Guest. The celebration was further dignified by the presence of Sunil Singh, Chairman of the National Traders Welfare Board, Government of India; P. C. Mohan, Member of Parliament from Bengaluru Central; and Lehar Singh Siroya, Member of the Rajya Sabha, as Guests of Honour. The dignitaries lauded the Sangh’s remarkable journey and praised its sustained contribution to value-based education and nation-building.
Welcoming the gathering, Champalal Bhandari, President of Shree Mahaveer Jain Shikshan Sangh, credited the institution’s growth and national recognition to the collective support of trustees, educators, alumni, parents, and well-wishers. He reaffirmed the Sangh’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, ethical values, and holistic education.

Hemraj (Mannu Bhai), Vice President of the Sangh and Chairman of the Souvenir Committee, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve the organisation. Reflecting on its inspiring legacy, he highlighted the Sangh’s disciplined values and its mission to nurture responsible, compassionate, and confident citizens, while reiterating his dedication to its future initiatives.
The Chairman of the Celebration Committee, Prakash Pirgal, highlighted the meticulous planning and collective teamwork that made the event a resounding success, describing the celebration as a tribute to decades of dedication, perseverance, and educational excellence.
Sharing insights into the Sangh’s journey and future roadmap, Secretary Champalal Jain spoke about the institution’s focus on innovation, modern infrastructure, and quality education aligned with contemporary needs, while remaining firmly rooted in strong moral values.
The grand celebration was attended by over 2,000 participants, including Executive Committee members and Sangh members along with their families. The presence of more than 1,500 alumni from both the school and college added emotional depth to the occasion. Teachers, students, parents, and distinguished guests further enriched the gathering.
The event featured warm hospitality with thoughtfully arranged lunch and hi-tea, followed by a vibrant cultural extravaganza. Students and alumni delivered captivating performances, while actors Naveen Shankar and Shreyas Manju added to the excitement by joining the celebrations on stage.
A high-energy performance by the High Octave Band evoked nostalgia among alumni, rekindling cherished memories and strengthening lifelong bonds. The celebrations concluded on a lively note with DJ music, leaving attendees with hearts filled with pride, joy, and gratitude.
