125 Arrested, Narcotics Seized in Operation D-Hunt

Thiruvananthapuram - In a massive statewide special drive conducted on April 26, 2025, as part of 'Operation D-Hunt', Kerala Police arrested 125 individuals involved in suspected drug trafficking activities.

Out of 2256 individuals questioned during the operation, 123 cases were registered for possession of various banned substances, including MDMA and cannabis. The police seized 0.0321 kilograms of MDMA, 25.178 kilograms of cannabis, and 73 cannabis-laced beedis during the crackdown.

Coordinated Crackdown Aimed at Drug Storage and Trafficking Networks

The purpose of 'Operation D-Hunt' was to identify and dismantle networks involved in the storage and distribution of narcotics across Kerala. Authorities emphasized that strong legal action will continue against those found guilty.

The special drive marks a significant step in Kerala’s zero-tolerance approach towards the drug menace, sending a strong message to drug peddlers and organized syndicates.
