Surendran: “CPM’s Attempt to Undermine Asha Workers Will Fail”

Surendran claimed that the CPM-led government is actively working to sabotage Asha workers’ protests, fearing exposure of its administrative failures. He pointed out that:

Kerala’s allegations of central fund denial were debunked when Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda clarified in Parliament that no dues were pending.

CM Pinarayi Vijayan remained silent during his meeting with the Union Finance Minister in Delhi, proving that the state’s claims were baseless.

He also accused the LDF government of blaming the center for its financial mismanagement while failing to provide justice for struggling Asha workers.

BJP is set to launch a mass movement against the rising mafia influence in Kerala, including:

  • March 27-28: Thousands of women will stage an all-night protest in front of the Secretariat, demanding justice for Asha workers.
  • March 23-30: Awareness meetings will be held in 280 constituencies to expose the drug mafia’s influence in Kerala.
  • April 5: A mega rally in Kollam to counter the LDF’s misinformation on coastal sand mining.

Surendran alleged that drug and sand mafias are thriving under the protection of the CPM government. He also criticized the double standards of CPM and Congress, highlighting how both parties oppose the Waqf law in Delhi while contradicting their stance in Kerala.
