Kolar District Gears Up for Vital Veterans Interaction Meet

Bengaluru - The Regional Centre ECHS Bangalore is set to host a significant Veterans Interaction Meet in Kolar on September 22, aimed at enhancing awareness of the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) among veterans and their families.
This essential event will inform attendees about the processes for obtaining ECHS membership cards, accessing medical treatment at empanelled hospitals, and navigating emergency admissions and medical claims. Expert-led discussions on cardiac health, lifestyle disease prevention, and dental hygiene are also on the agenda, ensuring veterans have the knowledge to manage their health effectively.
Scheduled to take place at Suvarna Kannada Bhavana, opposite Hope Hospital, the meet is expected to attract 200-250 veterans and their families. An open forum will provide a platform for veterans to ask questions and clarify their entitlements under the ECHS scheme. The day will conclude with a community lunch sponsored by the Kolar District Ex-Servicemen Trust, fostering camaraderie among attendees.
