Calling the operation a "pledge to justice," he confirmed the successful execution of precision strikes that dismantled major terrorist infrastructure across Pakistan on May 6–7.

Referring to the gruesome terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, PM Modi said the tragedy—where civilians were interrogated about their faith before being executed in front of their families—shocked the conscience of the world. He emphasized the unity of the nation in its demand for decisive action and announced that the government had granted the armed forces full freedom to act against terrorism.

Pakistan's Aggression Backfires as India Hits at the Core
PM Modi detailed how Pakistan retaliated by targeting civilian spaces including schools, temples, and homes. However, he said, India’s superior air defense neutralized their drones and missiles mid-air, while Indian forces responded with crippling counter-strikes on Pakistani airbases, rendering their infrastructure ineffective.
Pakistan Seeks Relief After Severe Setback
Following three days of sustained Indian military action, Pakistan’s DGMO contacted India on May 10 requesting de-escalation. PM Modi said India agreed to temporarily pause operations but warned that this was not the end. “India will assess every move Pakistan makes,” he said.
Operation Sindoor: India’s New National Security Doctrine
The Prime Minister outlined a three-pronged doctrine:
- Decisive Retaliation – India will hit back on its own terms.
- No Tolerance for Nuclear Blackmail – Terror shelters under nuclear shields will be destroyed.
- No Distinction Between Terrorists and Sponsors – Terror-supporting states will be held equally accountable.
He also exposed Pakistan’s state-terror links, noting that high-ranking military officials were seen at the funerals of slain terrorists.

Peace Through Strength: PM’s Message to the World
On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, the PM said, "This is not an era of war—but it is also not an era of terrorism." He emphasized that zero tolerance against terrorism is key to global peace, and warned Pakistan to dismantle its terror machinery or face consequences.
PoK, Not Peace Talks: India’s Terms Are Clear
The PM concluded by reaffirming India's position: any talks with Pakistan will focus solely on terrorism and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). He declared, “Terror and talks cannot go together; blood and water cannot flow together.”
