Command Hospital Air Force Bengaluru Hosts Grand Passing Out Parade for 39 Nursing Cadets

Bengaluru – The Medical Training Centre Parade Ground at Command Hospital Air Force Bengaluru (CHAFB) was the venue for a spectacular Passing Out Parade (PoP) on 10 March 2025, celebrating the successful graduation of the 5th batch of 39 nursing cadets from the College of Nursing, CHAFB.

The highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking, led by Brigadier R Vijayarani, Principal Matron, CHAFB, where the young officers pledged to serve India’s Tri-services with commitment, responsibility, and professionalism. This moment marked their official transition into the nursing force of India’s military.
Major General Elizabeth John (Retd), former Additional Director General of the Military Nursing Service, delivered an inspiring address, underscoring the vital role these officers will play in the medical services across the armed forces.
Additionally, three outstanding cadets were awarded for their exceptional performance throughout their training. Lieutenant Prabitha B, Lieutenant Debora Grace Georgin, and Lieutenant Epiphany Mary J were presented with trophies for excelling in academics, physical training, and leadership.
