IAF Passing-Out Parade at Air Force Technical College: Air Marshal CR Mohan Inspects and Awards Top Graduates

Bengaluru – Air Marshal CR Mohan, Air Officer-in-Charge Maintenance (AOM) of the Indian Air Force (IAF), inspected the prestigious Passing-Out Parade (POP) of the officers of the 103rd Aeronautical Engineering Course (AEC) at the Air Force Technical College (AFTC) on September 7, 2024. The ceremony marked the successful completion of 62 weeks of rigorous training, with more than 60 engineering officers, including 15 women officers and 10 officers from friendly foreign nations, graduating.

Air Marshal CR Mohan, who also serves as the Commodore Commandant of the AFTC, was welcomed by Air Commodore Ashutosh Shrivastava, Commandant of AFTC.

Sword of Honour: Awarded to Flying Officer Arpit Tiwary for securing first place in the order of merit.

President's Plaque: Presented to Flying Officer P Divya Bharathi for excellence in professional subjects.

Chief of Air Staff Medals: Awarded to Flying Officer Shreeya Hemant Sail (electronics) and Flying Officer Shivi Singh (mechanical) for topping their respective streams.

In his address to the graduating officers, Air Marshal Mohan emphasized the crucial role that engineering officers play in ensuring the seamless availability of aircraft and weapon systems. He encouraged them to continually enhance their knowledge and skills to meet future professional challenges while maintaining a balanced work-life approach.
