Army Outreach at KIA Bengaluru - In the lead-up to the Mela, the Army organized a special outreach program at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bengaluru, under the aegis of the Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area. Travelers were treated to a preview of the event, including infantry weapon displays and a melodious pipe band performance. This initiative received an overwhelming response, with passengers pausing to admire the Army’s showcase and interact with officers.
Major General VT Mathew, AVSM, YSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area, emphasized the importance of such events in fostering a deeper connection between citizens and the armed forces. He invited everyone to experience the grandeur of the upcoming event.
