ASC Motorcycle Display Team Breaks Three World Records in a Single Day to Mark 264th ASC Corps Day
The Tornadoes Set New Milestones in Motorcycle Stunts, Showcasing Exceptional Skill and Bravery
Bengaluru – In a stunning display of skill and bravery, the Army Service Corps (ASC) Motorcycle Display Team, known as the "Tornadoes," set three new world records on December 10, 2024, to celebrate the 264th ASC Corps Day. The historic event took place at the ASC Centre and College, as well as the Bangalore-Chennai Expressway, with all attempts adhering to the official guidelines of Guinness World Records.
Subedar Pradeep SS achieved a remarkable world record for the longest backward ride on a motorcycle, covering an astounding 361.56 kilometers. Havildar Manish set a new benchmark for the longest basic hands-free wheelie, traveling 2.349 kilometers. Meanwhile, Sepoy Sumit Tomar broke the record for the longest no-hands wheelie, reaching a distance of 1,715.4 meters.
The record-breaking feats were witnessed by the Joint Commissioner of the Government of Karnataka and other prominent dignitaries, who lauded the Tornadoes for their unparalleled discipline, courage, and determination.
