Bengaluru - A significant change of command took place today as Air Commodore Anjali Gautam assumed leadership of the prestigious Medical Training Centre (MTC), Air Force Bengaluru, succeeding Air Commodore Rajib Bhattacharya.
Air Commodore Anjali Gautam, an accomplished professional with a distinguished career in the Indian Air Force (IAF), officially took over the reins of MTC, Bengaluru, marking a new chapter in the institution's history. Graduating from PGIMS, Rohtak, Air Commodore Gautam brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role.
Commissioned in the IAF's Medical Branch in 1997, Air Commodore Anjali Gautam has served in various operational and administrative capacities throughout her career. Her extensive operational experience includes postings in Chandigarh, Allahabad, Guwahati, and Vadodara as a Medical Officer, showcasing her versatility and commitment to service. Prior to her appointment at MTC, Air Commodore Gautam commanded the Air Force Hospital on the Eastern front, demonstrating her leadership acumen and dedication to healthcare management within the armed forces.
A distinguished alumna of the College of Defence Management, Secunderabad, Air Commodore Gautam has pursued advanced studies in healthcare management, holding qualifications such as HDMC from MS University, Vadodara, and a PG Diploma in Disaster Preparedness Planning and Rehabilitation from IP University, New Delhi. With her vast experience and dedication to excellence, Air Commodore Anjali Gautam is poised to lead MTC, Air Force Bengaluru, towards continued success in training and preparing medical personnel for the challenges of tomorrow.
