Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah Launches Revamped Single Window System for Investors

Bengaluru- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday unveiled the state’s revamped Single Window System, designed to enhance the ease of doing business by simplifying approvals, reducing compliance burdens, and expediting industrial investments.

Speaking at GIM Invest Karnataka 2025, Siddaramaiah emphasized that the digital platform integrates over 150 business services across 30 state departments, ensuring real-time tracking of approvals, amendments, and renewals. The initiative is expected to boost investor confidence and streamline Karnataka’s industrial landscape.

Key Features of the Revamped System:

✅ Affidavit-Based Clearance (ABC): Allows investors to begin construction without waiting for multiple approvals via Karnataka Udyog Mitra.

✅ National Integration: The system is linked to the National Single Window System, enabling seamless access to central government services.

✅ KIADB Services: Investors can now search, select, and acquire industrial land and get building plan approvals online.

✅ GIS-Based Industrial Information System: Helps investors check land compliance before proceeding with projects.

✅ Incentive Wizard & Calculator: Assists investors in determining eligibility for subsidies, concessions, and rebates.

✅ AI-Powered Multi-Lingual Chatbot: Provides instant responses to queries on policies, incentives, approvals, and compliance.

✅ Real-Time Status & Alerts: Enables investors to track application progress with event-based notifications.

✅ Online Grievance Redressal: Ensures quick resolution of investor concerns through a dedicated facilitation team.

Siddaramaiah highlighted that the system will also enhance SAKALA SLA compliance, enabling government officials to monitor applications and ensure timely service delivery. The mobile-friendly and multi-language platform further simplifies the process, making Karnataka one of India’s most investor-friendly states.

“With this next-gen Single Window System, Karnataka is setting a new benchmark for efficiency, transparency, and investor convenience. This initiative will reduce bureaucratic hurdles, accelerate project approvals, and solidify Karnataka’s status as a top investment destination in India,” the Chief Minister stated.
