Indore to Host 15th Annual Journalism Festival "Bhartiya Patrakarita Mahotsav," Honoring City's Legacy of Legendary Journalists

Indore -  Indore, the city of literary giants like Rahul Barpute, Rajendra Mathur, Prabhash Joshi, Ved Prakash Vaidik, and Abhay Chhajlani, continues to make its mark in the world of journalism. This longstanding tradition is upheld through the annual Journalism Mahakumbh, a grand festival celebrating the city's rich journalistic heritage. This year's three-day event, featuring nine sessions, is set to begin on the 21st of this month, aiming to introduce new dimensions to journalism and discuss the role of media in the future of India.

State Press Club President Praveen Khariwal announced that the festival will feature various sessions highlighting different branches of journalism. Distinguished journalists and literati from across the country will share their insights and knowledge. Over 200 journalists and media professionals from across the state and country will be in attendance, providing substantial support and realization to the event. Khariwal also mentioned that journalists specializing in political journalism in Madhya Pradesh will be honored, and a senior journalist from the state will receive the Naresh Mehta Lifetime Achievement Award.

Bhartiya Patrakarita Mahotsav - Three-Day Highlights

State Press Club President Praveen Khariwal elaborated on the diversity and inclusiveness of the three-day program, catering to varied interests and needs. On the first day, June 21, discussions will revolve around topics like "Future of India and Media" and "Party Switching and Opposition Parties." A master class on TV anchoring will also take place. On June 22, the focus will shift to cartoon and mobile journalism, while the closing session on June 23 will feature several major events. Each evening of the festival will conclude with cultural and entertainment programs, ensuring a blend of learning and enjoyment.
