“This gap has actually worked in our favor. We’ve had valuable team bonding sessions, and with the hectic schedule of WPL—back-to-back games and constant travel—this break has come at the perfect time. It allowed us to fine-tune our skills on Mumbai’s pitches and mentally reset. We’re fully charged for the big day,” Rodrigues stated in a virtual press conference on Thursday.

“Yes, we all know what happened in the last two seasons, but that’s cricket. One night, one match can change everything. The entire team is positive and excited—no one is dwelling on the past.
