Bengaluru - General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), paid a visit to the Headquarters of Training Command, Indian Air Force (IAF), on May 24, 2024. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Training Command.

During his visit, the CDS was briefed on the pivotal role played by Training Command and the recent initiatives undertaken to optimize training activities while addressing the challenges encountered in enhancing the efficiency of training programs. Emphasizing the significance of these efforts in augmenting the overall operational preparedness of the IAF, General Anil Chauhan commended the personnel for their dedication to fostering synergy among the services in conducting training related to common and similar assets. While acknowledging the progress achieved thus far, he underscored the imperative to further bolster joint efforts to maximize the utilization of the nation's limited resources for training purposes.
