He pointed out that the government had placed one person per constituency, district, and state, with state presidents being granted hefty salaries and cabinet-rank status. He accused the Congress of wasting taxpayers' money on political patronage rather than addressing pressing issues like worker honorariums.

The BJP leader also took aim at the government's financial mismanagement, which he said had led to the closure of nine universities in the state, limiting access to education for underprivileged students.

His comments hinted at ministerial and high-profile involvement in the matter, escalating the allegations of corruption in the Congress government.

In response to MLA Somasekhar’s recent support for the Congress government, Vijayendra stated, "Everyone knows why he is doing so," hinting at underlying political motivations. He further confirmed that the Karnataka BJP had escalated the matter to the central leadership, and was awaiting their response on how to proceed.
