Celebrating Women’s Resilience: University College NCC Army Wing’s Inspiring Initiative
A Day of Compassion: NCC Cadets Visit Little Flower Home in Trivandrum

Trivandrum, March 8, 2025 - The University College NCC Army Wing, under the 2[K] Battalion NCC Army Wing Thirumala, commemorated International Women’s Day with a heartwarming act of service and community engagement. A delegation of five NCC cadets, led by Associate NCC Officer LT. Dr. Suresh J, visited the Little Flower Home for the Physically Challenged in Ooruttambalam, Trivandrum, spreading warmth and solidarity among its residents.
As part of the initiative, the cadets engaged with 33 residents, offering their time, companionship, and distributing essential daily wear clothes, ensuring that their visit was both meaningful and impactful. This initiative reflected the NCC’s core values of service, empathy, and leadership.
