Vice President Awards HAL 'Outstanding PSU of the Year
Bengaluru/Delhi - At the prestigious AIMA’s Managing India Awards ceremony held last night in Delhi, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) was honored with the esteemed 'Outstanding PSU of the Year’ award by the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. Shri C B Ananthakrishnan, CMD (Additional Charge) of HAL, graciously accepted the award on behalf of the organization, expressing gratitude to AIMA for this distinguished recognition.
In his address, the Hon’ble Vice President extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the winners, acknowledging the thoughtful selection process by the jury. He commended HAL for its exceptional performance, citing it as an inspiring success story and a source of national pride.
Responding to the accolade, Mr. Ananthakrishnan expressed deep gratitude for the honor bestowed upon HAL by the Hon’ble Vice President. He reiterated HAL's commitment to contributing significantly to India's self-reliance in defence production, spurred on by the motivation derived from such prestigious recognition.
Established in 1957, the All India Management Association (AIMA) serves as the apex body of the management profession in India. It plays a pivotal role in facilitating the growth and development of individuals and organizations across various sectors, including industry, government, academia, and students.
HAL's remarkable performance in the financial year ending on March 31, 2024, underscores its unwavering dedication and operational excellence. The organization achieved a historic milestone, recording its highest-ever revenue from operations, surpassing Rs. 29,810 crores (provisional and unaudited) with a remarkable double-digit growth of around 11%, solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the defence sector.
