Mahakumbh Nagar / Lucknow - On the sacred occasion of Makar Sankranti, Mahakumbh 2025 witnessed an extraordinary turnout as over 3.5 crore devotees, including revered saints and Kalpvasis, participated in the first Amrit Snan at the holy Triveni Sangam. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his heartfelt wishes and expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the flawless execution of this grand event of faith and unity.

CM Yogi Applauds the Devotion

Taking to his social media handle X, CM Yogi congratulated the saints, Kalpvasis, and devotees for their unwavering faith and participation in the sacred ritual. Describing Mahakumbh as a symbol of the power and spirituality of Sanatan Dharma, he wrote, “On the first Amrit Snan day, more than 3.5 crore revered saints and devotees earned the merit of bathing in the eternal and pure Triveni Sangam.”

Gratitude for Seamless Execution

CM Yogi extended his heartfelt thanks to the numerous departments, organizations, and individuals involved in the successful execution of the first Amrit Snan. Acknowledging their tireless efforts, he said, "I express my deepest gratitude to the revered akhadas, Mahakumbh Mela administration, local authorities, police, sanitation workers, volunteer organizations, religious institutions, boatmen, and all central and state government departments associated with Mahakumbh."

The first Amrit Snan brought together devotees from across the nation and beyond, reflecting the vibrant culture and spiritual ethos of India. The ghats of the Triveni Sangam were a sea of faith and devotion as chants of “Har Har Gange” echoed through the air.
