Mahakumbhnagar -The sacred city of Prayagraj came alive with devotion as thousands of pilgrims gathered at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers for the first Snan Parv (bathing festival) of Mahakumbh 2025 on Paush Purnima. With chants of "Har Har Gange" and "Jai Shri Ram" echoing through the air, the event showcased the unparalleled faith and enthusiasm of devotees braving the early morning cold.
Pilgrims from across India began arriving at Mahakumbhnagar from midnight, carrying their belongings on their heads and walking barefoot to the holy ghats. Key locations such as Sangam Nose, Airavat Ghat, and VIP Ghat saw a significant turnout, with people of all ages coming together in an awe-inspiring display of faith and devotion.

The Integrated Command and Control Center monitored the event in real time, with senior officials, including the DIG and SSP, personally overseeing operations. Additional police personnel were deployed, ensuring efficient crowd management from midnight through the early hours.
