Kerala Shaken by MLA P.V. Anvar’s Shocking Accusations Against Top Cop Involving Gold Smuggling and Notorious Drug Lord

Nilambur - In a dramatic turn of events, MLA P.V. Anvar has leveled grave accusations against Kerala’s Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) M.R. Ajith Kumar, alleging the senior officer’s involvement in gold smuggling operations and suggesting a troubling connection to notorious drug lord Dawood Ibrahim. Anvar’s explosive claims come at a time when a leaked phone conversation involving Pathanamthitta SP Sujith Das has thrust the Kerala Police's top brass into the spotlight.

Anvar’s allegations paint a grim picture of corruption within the Kerala Police, asserting that ADGP Ajith Kumar might view Dawood Ibrahim as a role model. “For someone engaged in such high-level criminal activities, they would need to be inspired by figures like Dawood Ibrahim,” Anvar stated. “Ajith Kumar appears to be influenced by such individuals and has set up a special system in the cyber cell to intercept calls of ministers and politicians.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Anvar claimed to possess recordings of Ajith Kumar’s wife speaking with an unidentified person about a murder linked to gold smuggling. He alleged that Kozhikode-based trader Mami, who has been missing for a year, was allegedly involved in these operations and met a grim fate. According to Anvar, SP Sujith Das has exploited his connections within Customs to facilitate gold smuggling through Kozhikode airport, with Customs officers allegedly turning a blind eye during inspections. The smuggling ring purportedly involves seizing a substantial portion of the gold during follow-up operations.

Anvar further accused a faction within the Kerala Police, loyal to Ajith Kumar, of undermining the state government’s efforts and disregarding the Chief Minister’s directives. “When asked about the issues raised in the Assembly, the police dismissed them as baseless,” Anvar added. “Is Ajith Kumar really supporting the government? I have serious doubts.”

The controversy has placed the Kerala Police under intense scrutiny and raised questions about the integrity of its senior officials. As investigations unfold, the accusations continue to reverberate through the corridors of power in Kerala.
