Bengaluru  – The Air Force Technical College (AFTC) in Bengaluru hosted a pivotal seminar on December 9, 2024, titled "Air Power and Training for Future Wars," at its newly inaugurated Harjinder Auditorium. The event attracted a distinguished gathering, including representatives from academia, senior officers, and air warriors from the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Training Command (TC) and Southern Air Command (SAC).

The seminar provided an insightful platform for discussing the evolving role of air power in modern warfare and future conflicts. It emphasized the critical importance of maintaining air superiority, advancing training techniques, and incorporating cutting-edge technologies to stay ahead in the rapidly changing defense landscape.

Six expert talks were delivered during the seminar, with notable contributions from Air Commodore Ashutosh Shrivastava, Commandant of the college, and Chief Guest Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Training Command. The discussions covered innovative training methodologies, the use of high-fidelity simulation tools, and strategic approaches to prepare the Indian Air Force for the complex, multi-dimensional challenges of future wars.
