DG BSF Nitin Agrawal Welcomes Ex-Agniveers with 10% Reservation and Age Relaxations

New Delhi- Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Nitin Agrawal, has announced a comprehensive recruitment plan to integrate Ex-Agniveers into the BSF. Recognizing their dedication and training, DG Agrawal emphasized the invaluable contribution these individuals can make to national security.

"Ex-Agniveers have dedicated four years of their life in service, they are trained, disciplined, and BSF, after giving short training, will deploy them along the borders," stated DG Nitin Agrawal. Highlighting the eagerness of the BSF to recruit these veterans, he confirmed that they will benefit from a 10% reservation in the recruitment process.

Additionally, Ex-Agniveers will receive age relaxations to facilitate their integration into the force. The first batch of recruits will be granted a five-year age relaxation, while subsequent batches will receive a three-year relaxation.

"We are eagerly waiting to recruit them," said DG Agrawal, underscoring the mutual benefits of this initiative. The recruitment of Ex-Agniveers is expected to enhance the operational efficiency of the BSF by leveraging the skills and discipline of these trained individuals.
