The image, which has gone viral on social media, captures the raw devastation of a newlywed bride who just days ago was planning a future full of love and adventure.

NAVY OFFICER KILLED JUST DAYS AFTER WEDDING

The slain man has been identified as Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a 26-year-old naval officer stationed in Kochi. Narwal had married on April 16 and was in Kashmir with his wife for their honeymoon. The couple was planning to travel, explore new places, and build a life together. Those dreams were shattered in a hail of bullets in Pahalgam.

YOUNG, PROMISING OFFICER WITH A BRIGHT FUTURE
