Bengaluru - In a resounding call for global action, the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) has raised serious concerns over the escalating violence, discrimination, and oppression faced by Hindu and other minority communities in Bangladesh. Reports of attacks on temples, religious sites, educational institutions, and even brutal killings have sent shockwaves across the region, highlighting a deepening humanitarian crisis.

Systematic Persecution: A Grim Reality

During the recent political transition in Bangladesh, radical Islamist elements have unleashed widespread violence, temple desecrations, lootings, abductions, and forced conversions. The targeted nature of these assaults dismisses any claims of mere political clashes, as victims predominantly belong to Hindu and other minority communities. The data paints a grim picture—Hindu population in Bangladesh has plummeted from 22% in 1951 to a staggering 7.95% today, signaling an existential crisis.

Rising Anti-Bharat Sentiment & Global Instability

The ABPS warns against orchestrated efforts by international forces to destabilize the region by sowing discord between neighboring nations. The rising anti-Bharat rhetoric in Bangladesh is seen as a dangerous trend that could severely strain bilateral relations. Thought leaders and scholars in international relations are urged to remain vigilant and expose such destabilizing forces, particularly the deep-state activities of Pakistan.

Resistance & Global Solidarity

Despite facing unrelenting atrocities, the Hindu society in Bangladesh has demonstrated remarkable resilience through peaceful and democratic resistance. The growing moral and psychological support from the Hindu community in Bharat and across the world has led to international protests, petitions, and diplomatic interventions.

The Government of Bharat has taken a firm stance, engaging with the Bangladesh interim government and global platforms to demand protection and dignity for Hindus and minorities. The ABPS has urged the United Nations and global human rights organizations to intervene and pressure Bangladesh into curbing extremist violence.
