Trump Appoints Indian-American Entrepreneur Shriram Krishnan as Senior AI Policy Advisor

San Francisco - In a significant move, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Indian-American entrepreneur Shriram Krishnan as a Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Krishnan, who has led product teams at major tech companies including Microsoft, Twitter, Yahoo, Facebook, and Snap, will work closely with David O. Sacks, whom Trump has named as the "White House AI and Crypto Czar."

On Sunday, Trump made a series of key AI-related appointments. He revealed that Krishnan will serve in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where he will focus on ensuring U.S. leadership in the AI domain. Krishnan will collaborate with Sacks, as well as the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, to shape and coordinate AI policy.
