Key Achievements:

  • Unprecedented Freight Loading: SWR has set a new record with its highest originating freight loading ever, reaching an impressive 50.37 Million Tonnes in 2023-24, showcasing a notable 7.9% growth compared to the previous year.
  • Record Revenue: The railway has notched up its highest originating freight earning of Rs. 5022.85 Crores, along with a remarkable Rs. 155.32 Crores from scrap sales.
  • Infrastructure Milestones: SWR's completion of 611 Route KMs of electrification, 43 KMs of doubling, and 29 KMs of new lines underscores its commitment to sustainable growth and expansion.

  • Divisional Triumphs: Hubballi Division, Mysuru Division, and Bengaluru Division have all achieved their best-ever freight loadings, highlighting SWR's widespread success and impact.
