A Celebration of Creativity, Peace, and Empowerment at the International Women’s Conference

Bengaluru - The 10th International Women’s Conference, inaugurated by global peace leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, brought together diverse voices to explore wellbeing, creativity, and inner peace for women. Over three days, discussions on breaking barriers, rediscovering self, and embracing balance resonated through the sessions.
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha shared how creativity has always been meditative for her, while Noorah Abdullah from Bahrain reflected on her journey from a structured military life to creative freedom through The Art of Living. Smt. Bhanumathi Narasimhan, Chairperson of the conference, highlighted the importance of rest in women’s lives for achieving more.
Hon. President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, praised Gurudev’s efforts in preserving spiritual values, while Former Union Minister Smriti Irani accepted the Vishalakshi Award, honoring the mother of Gurudev. Hon. Akie Abe, Former First Lady of Japan, reflected on compassion in the face of personal tragedy.
A cultural highlight was Sita Charitam, an immersive 4D musical ballet retelling the Ramayana through Sita’s perspective, featuring 500 artists and 30 diverse art forms, captivating global audiences.The conference left an enduring impact with themes of sisterhood, creativity, and universal values.
