Indian Railways Gears Up for Holi Festival with Special Train Services
Holi Festival Special: Indian Railways Extends Mysuru-Danapur Train Services to Ease Passenger Rush

Bengaluru - In a major move to manage the festive rush during Holi 2025, the Railway Board has announced the extension of special train services between Mysuru and Danapur for two additional trips in each direction.
Train Schedule and Timings:
To facilitate smooth travel, Train No. 06207 Mysuru-Danapur Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 4:30 PM on 08.03.2025 and 15.03.2025 (Saturdays), reaching Danapur at 10:00 AM on Tuesday.
On the return journey, Train No. 06208 Danapur-Mysuru Express Special will leave Danapur at 1:45 AM on 12.03.2025 and 19.03.2025 (Wednesdays), arriving at Mysuru at 3:00 PM on Friday.
Stoppages En Route:
The special trains will halt at prominent stations including Mandya, KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Chitradurg, Hosapete, SSS Hubballi, Solapur, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, PT. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, and Buxar among others, ensuring seamless connectivity across key regions.
Coach Composition:
Each train will comprise 22 LHB coaches, including:
- 10 AC-Three Tier Coaches
- 6 Second Class Sleeper Coaches
- 4 General Second Class Coaches
- 2 Luggage-Cum-Guard Coaches
