CISF Reserves 10% Constable Posts for Ex-Agniveers, Offers Age and PET Relaxations

New Delhi - The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced significant measures to facilitate the recruitment of Ex-Agniveers into its ranks. Director General Smt. Nina Singh confirmed that 10% of the constable posts have been reserved exclusively for Ex-Agniveers.

In a move to support these former service members, CISF will provide relaxations in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and age criteria. For the first batch of recruits, there will be a five-year relaxation in the age limit, followed by a three-year relaxation for subsequent batches.

DG Nina Singh emphasized the dual benefits of this initiative. "CISF will ensure that Ex-Agniveers get maximum benefits of these relaxations," she stated. "The recruitment of Ex-Agniveers will benefit CISF as it will get capable, dedicated, and disciplined workforce, which will further enhance the efficiency of its operations. Meanwhile, Ex-Agniveers will also get an opportunity to serve in the CISF."

The recruitment drive aims to harness the skills and dedication of Ex-Agniveers, thereby strengthening the CISF's operational capabilities while providing meaningful employment opportunities for former military personnel.
