New Delhi - The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has unveiled a targeted recruitment initiative designed to integrate Ex-Agniveers into its ranks, bolstering its operational prowess with skilled military veterans. This announcement, made by DG CRPF Shri Anish Dayal Singh, signifies a strategic move to harness the expertise and dedication of former armed forces personnel.
DG CRPF Shri Anish Dayal Singh affirmed, "We have made comprehensive arrangements to facilitate the recruitment of Ex-Agniveers into the CRPF. Amendments to recruitment rules have been enacted to streamline their inclusion."
Under the revised guidelines, a notable ten percent reservation has been allocated specifically for Ex-Agniveers, reflecting CRPF's commitment to fostering diversity and leveraging military experience within its ranks. Additionally, significant age relaxations have been instituted to ease the transition for these veterans. The first batch of recruits will benefit from a five-year age relaxation, with subsequent batches receiving a three-year relaxation period.
An exceptional provision of the recruitment drive includes the exemption of Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) for Ex-Agniveers, acknowledging their rigorous training and service across the three branches of the armed forces.
