Bengaluru - Sejal Gulia, the 15-year-old fencing prodigy from Bengaluru, Karnataka, has clinched an Individual bronze medal at the Commonwealth Junior and Cadet Fencing Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand. The championship, spanning from July 12th to 19th, 2024, witnessed Gulia's stellar performance in the Junior Women's Epee category, where she triumphed in a hard-fought battle for the bronze medal.
This achievement adds another accolade to Gulia's burgeoning career, following her earlier silver medal win as part of the Cadet Women's Epee team on July 15th. Reflecting on her victory, Gulia expressed immense pride, attributing her success to the unwavering support of her coaches, teammates, and family.

Gulia's achievements extend beyond the Commonwealth Championships; earlier this year, she represented India at the Asian Championships in Bahrain, where her performance earned her the distinction of being the top-ranked Indian athlete, securing 15th place in Asia.
